What to Expect
Scheduling an Appointment
Investing in Your Health
When you decide that you want to experience what massage can do for your health, please feel free to request an appointment by filling out an Appointment Request Form. You will be contacted to confirm appointment times.
Before Your Appointment
Tell Us About Yourself
In order for our therapists to personalize your care in a safe and effective manner, we will need you to fill out 2 forms. Please fill out the New Client Intake Form and the Informed Consent Form before your appointment.
On Your Session Date
Meet Your Therapist
On the day of your appointment, you will have the opportunity to talk with your therapist and decide on how you want to approach your massage session. You may either choose a full-body massage (for general relaxation) or a customized session (for specific parts of your body). Your therapist will discuss what kind of modalities they recommend to best suit your massage goals.
During your Session
Get Comfortable
If the modality used uses oils and or lotion, your therapist will step out of the room to allow you to disrobe to your comfort level and lay on the table underneath the provided sheets. Your therapist will only uncover the areas that they are working on.
Relax
It is important to ease your muscles and your mind. Make sure to keep an even breath and try not to tense your muscles. Keep an open communication with your therapist for feedback on pressure and techniques. If you are uncomfortable, make sure your therapist knows.
After Your Session
Embody
After your session, your therapist will step aside to give you time to get re-acquainted with your body. They will also ask a couple questions for a re-assessment to record what their treatment was successful at and where more work is needed. This information helps us keep track of your overall progress and fine-tune your future massage sessions to achieve the goals you have set for your own body.
